Hotel 1622 - Fantastic location in Rydebäck, Skåne

Hotel 1622 has a favorable location by the sea between Helsingborg and Landskrona, with the proximity of larger cities such as Lund, Malmö and Copenhagen as well as Helsingborg Airport, Malmö Airport and Copenhagen Airport. All of Skåne has a lot to offer its visitors year round with fantastic summer, lovely autumn and spring, mild winter and lots to discover!

The origin of the town of Rydebäck is a brickyard that was founded in 1622 by the Danish king Christian IV. The bricks were used as building material for all the castles that were built in Skåne at that time. The manor house to which the hotel building belongs was built in 1855. The expansion of the Rydebäck community started in the 1960s and today Rydebäck is one of the country's largest residential areas with approximately 6,000 inhabitants.

In the center of Rydebäck you will find the train station, grocery store, neighborhood pub and pizzeria. At the beach and around the residential areas there are nice walking paths, forest groves, gravel paths and paddocks with grazing animals, sitting areas with beautiful lookouts, playgrounds, outdoor gyms and exercise tracks. Not far away are golf clubs as well as the opportunity to windsurf when weather allows.
